Welcome to Marty Blender's page.

Marty Blender works in Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Florida USA. His background in art extends over 50 years. His current practice centres around aluminium plate lithograpy that he works on at the University of Miami in the Rainbow Room Printmaking Department.

Marty has been involve in the BFA program with philisophical guidance and project participation over the past four years. The Guernica painting project in the level two stairwell is dedicated to Marty for his influence and support on the project development.

Marty is fascinated with the human form and the nature of abstraction that occurs within composition

Blender has an extensive background in art and architecture. He has worked for firms in New York as well as private practice and positions as an educator and University Architect for the University of Miami.
