ISI Denpasar

A delegation of representatives of the ISI including the Dean Ms Rimu and Rector Mr Rai,discussed the future of collaborative projects with Mr Paul Trinidad and believe an investigation into a regenerated project called Truly Bagus, should be undertaken.

 

This web page is the link point for cultural exchange project and studio activities between students from ITB, ISI Indonesia and FALVA, Australia.

It will also weblog activities in the teaching program for Visa 1151 and 1152 units at FALVA. Inderdisciplineary activities with ARCT/LACH 1100 co-ordinated by Sophie Giles will be included.

Field trips to Wolf Lane, Studio activities, visits to artists and supporters will be blogged from this site.

Students from the studio art program FALVA meet with Mr Hans Arkeveld who is about to visit Java on a research field trip with Ms Joan Johnson. Hans Arkeveld is one of Western Australia's most respected artists, his art work in the field of anatomy is unparalleled.

 

 

Chris Hill

Meeting with Chris Hill to learn more information about Wayang painting as well as other traditional and some contemporary Balinese styles. Chris Hills collection and discussion also included abstract and epehmeral works from local and international artists.

Investigation into the nature of Entrance:

This is an ephemeral project that may produce works of art or may just provide stimulation toward developing ideas toward substantive pieces. The project could be a point of departure, or, and entrance into many layered investigations.

Technical:
This project can be considered digital, meaning that information can be transmitted and published electronically in catalogue form and on the world wide web.

Digitally worked images are not an essential requisite – for participants working in ‘other media’ the interpretation of digital is broad. Participants are welcome to submit digital photographs. This could include a photo of a scenario, scanned or photographed traditional media work or a full-worked digital image?

Each participant to submit a digital image size 710 x 710 pixels at 150 dpi resolution.
In addition, title, name of participant, medium of work and in no more than 200 words, a brief description of the scenario relating to the reading of the work or artists intent / statement.
