Preface
Batik is cultural fabric of Indonesia. Generations to generations wear Batik as a national identity, worn by elementary students to government officer. Lately, most of Indonesian youth has less consciousness in participating for their nationality. By wearing Batik, Indonesian is actually showing the pride of their various culture.

Concept of Batik Ads
In this Batik Ads, the illustrations are using B&W photography which speaks the past. The typography is using Serif with Times New Roman fonts as for the Headline. Most of the layout are white with red on word Batik to show the nationality of Batik, Indonesia.

Illustration is using a female college
student wearing Batik as a skirt and
converse shoes. The idea is to show
the combination of traditional and urban
style to the youth as an alternative to
be proud of wearing Batik these days.

A girl wearing Batik shirt is eating Sunday ice cream.
This shows by wearing Batik, the youth can also enjoy themselves
with any fun activities they may have.
